Our New Furniture

We got our new furniture! I was taking some photos to send to my mom and Carter kept popping into all of the pictures.I love these couches because they are easier to clean with children, you just wipe them off!!! My kidos destroyed our last set, I washed the cushion covers so much, they started coming apart. Not to mention they had faded to a lighter color than the rest of the couch!

The sofa has a hidabed in it and the boys think it is so fun to lay on. They want to pull it out every day!I wish they wanted to sleep in their own beds this much!

About Us

I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys, Christopher, Carter and Aiden. I am happily married to the most amazing man who is also my best friend, I could not imagine anyone better.
I am so lucky that I can be a stay at home mom. My kids are my life! Before I got married, I had started school to become a nurse, but the birth of our oldest son changed my path in life. He was born at 26 weeks gestation at a whopping 2 pounds. He has had so many trials in his short 8 years of life. He has Ataxic Cerebal Palsey and non communicating Hydrocephalus. I go more into that on his post. Anyway, his health problems required me to re-evaluate where I was going in life and put a lot of things into perspective for me. So, for now, I have put school on hold and am focusing on my beautiful family!
My new hobby is baking. I found that I love baking and decorating cakes! It started out as a way to relive stress for me and it turned into one of my favorite things to do. I have made some wedding cakes and birthday cakes for people. It is really a lot of fun.
My husband just started his senior year in the Graphic Design program at the University of Utah. He will be graduating in May 2009 with his BS in Graphic Design. I am so proud of him! It has taken him awhile to get through school. He has managed to be at the top of his class. He has been able to accomplish this while working a full time job and dealing with the many medical crisis that we have indured with Christopher's illnesses. There were many times when Chris was so sick in the hospital undergoing one of his 65 shunt revisions, shunt infections, endocarditis ect... John was always there with me right by his side doing his homework and staying focused. I really don't know how he did it! I would have pulled my hair out. I am so very proud of him! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family!
